The aim and ethos of the Joyce Chevalier Centre is to provide services to adults with intellectual disabilities in the form of work activities and training in life skills, work skills and work habits.

These services are developmental in nature, seeking to find and develop the strengths of each individual in the programme.

This is achieved through the use of an individual development plan. This may result in placement in the Open Labour Market or in skills development within the Centre. The Centre is Christian-based and whilst everyone is welcome to attend the Centre, morning devotions are held as a part of the programme.
